WHAT IS SENIOR INDEPENDENT LIVING?
Senior independent living is "stress-free" living. It is a lifestyle that supports seniors in remaining active, healthy, and independent in their communities. Residents have a secure, accessible, and maintenance-free home in a complex that offers common space and basic services. These services include coordinated transportation, weekly housekeeping, laundry services, planned activities, and the main meal of the day.
HOW IS SENIOR INDEPENDENT LIVING DIFFERENT FROM ASSISTED LIVING?
Unlike independent living, assisted living facilities provide 24-hour supervision, personal assistance, and health-related services. Oftentimes, these facilities are licensed with regulations that vary from state to state. These same services can often be brought into a resident's home in independent living, if needed, and are arranged on an individual basis outside of the regular services offered.

Security and social interaction are other advantages, as well as being able to travel and not worry about finding someone to take care of your house and yard. Each apartment is fully sprinkled and all emergency systems are monitored 24-hours a day. Each person has a different reason, but the overall theme is less hassle and more time to enjoy life.
