Faith Lutheran Home provides 24 hour nursing care provided by experienced nurses and nursing assistants, along with medication aides and environmental aides. Our activity program is designed to meet the social and recreational needs of our residents. We strive to provide a program that is both mentally and physically stimulating. We have music programs, religious services, mind challenging games, games for fun, exercise, manicures, outings and more! We approach each day as an opportunity to make a difference! Each resident is an individual, with unique needs and desires, and it is our mission to give to them what they need to make their stay with us an enjoyable fulfilling experience. Faith Lutheran Home's licensed Social Worker is committed to helping residents attain or maintain the highest practical level of physical, mental and psychosocial well-being. She is on staff to help residents transition into our nursing home as well as discharging out of our facility and back to their community.

At Faith Lutheran Home our social worker helps families and/or residents complete the necessary admissions paperwork as well as review residents right, health care privacy act, etc. The Social Worker at Faith Lutheran Home is a part of our interdisciplinary team that completes a comprehensive assessment of each of our residents and develops an individualized care plan. These plans are monitored regularly in care plan conferences with the resident and family. The Social Worker at Faith Lutheran Home is involved in discharge planning so a resident may access community services when returning home.

A well balanced meal is one of the key areas to good health. We prepare a variety of nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents. Appetizing meals are attractively served in a cheerful dining room. We utilize select menus to offer our residents choices. We offer and encourage family and friends to dine with your resident. Staff at Faith Lutheran Home are concerned with seeing residents restored to their greatest potential. Resident participation and motivation is acheived through restorative aides, under the direction of a consultant physical therapist and director of nursing, are available to help residents with ambulation, transfer techniques, and mobility. Additional speech, physical, and occupational therapies with licensed theraptists are available when ordered by a physician.

Faith Lutheran Home provides for our residents to fulfill their spirutual needs with support from our local churches. Spiritual needs are met through weekly chapel, daily devotions, Bible studies, special seasonal services, monthly communion, and chaplin services to persons of all religious denominations.

Environmental Services provides our residents with a clean living environment. Rooms are cleaned daily and stocked with supplies. Monthly the rooms are deep cleaned with the most up to date cleaning technology and safest cleaning products. Daily laundry service is provided for our residents' personal laundry and linens. At Faith Lutheran Home every employee is dedicated to teamwork and creating a home for each person. Our team is comprised of many people, but they all share the common goal of providing quality services in an environment that feels like home.

Licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants provide service to the residents 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

A registered dietician and the dining service employees provide a variety of balanced meals with the individual needs and wishes of residents in mind. Snacks are available 24 hours a day.

Our full time, licensed social worker assist the residents and families with the move into the home. She also assists with the coordination of the residents' discharge plans.

Housekeeping and laundry services are provided daily. Families are welcome to do the resident's personal laundry. Residents are encouraged to bring their own belongings from home. Phones, televisions and computers are not provided in the rooms.

The activity coordinator plans leisure time events that reflect the interest and abilities of each resident. Residents are included in the planning of these events. Outings to community events and van rides are provided regularly.
